It was a magical night to remember as celebrities stepped out to attend the spectacular 2024 launch of the Hogwarts in the Snow feature at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.
Guests including Abbey Clancy, Peter Crouch, Ronnie Wood and Fearne Cotton got to experience Christmas at the Studio Tour, seeing their favourite iconic Harry Potter sets dressed for the festive season in a blanket of filmmaking snow.
Celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, TV and music including Jack Whitehall, Roxy Horner and Vicky Pattinson took to the red carpet in the magnificent Great Hall which has been adorned in festive scenes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, before experiencing the enchantment of Christmas throughout the rest of the Studio Tour.
Kimberley Walsh and her children immersed themselves in the magic, watching a demonstration of the animatronic head of fan-favourite character Hagrid used in the Harry Potter film series, and experiencing the charming snowy scene where Hagrid drags an enormous Christmas tree through the grounds of Hogwarts.
Many of the celebrities mingled and explored the beloved sets of Gryffindor common room, Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley, all dressed in their festive finery.
Fearne McCann and Sheridan Smith admired the frozen Hogwarts fountain in the Backlot – a brand new addition to the feature – as seen in the Clock Tower Courtyard in the Harry Potter film series. While Uma Jammeh and Wil Anderson were in amazement at the Hogwarts castle model covered in a blanket of film makers’ snow.
Hogwarts in the Snow will run from the 16th November 2024 until the 19th January 2025, before the much-loved Magical Mischief feature comes to the Studio Tour.
Neville will be making a return to the Magical Mischief feature in 2025 alongside Professor Umbridge and the swing pendulum, levitating cake and Harry’s flying acceptance letters.
Fans who have attended the Magical Mischief feature previously will remember the iconic scene with Neville being tormented by Cornish Pixies. Visitors will now get to experience this moment in its new film accurate home, the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom.
The film makers have been hard at work bringing the chaos of this spectacle to life, with visitors able to see Neville moving while being suspended from the classroom’s ceiling, a stunt never seen before at the Studio Tour. Fans will be transported into Gilderoy Lockhart’s lesson, experiencing the pixies’ mischievous antics first-hand. Watch out for those electric blue rascals around the Studio Tour. We must ask you not to scream… it might provoke them!
