The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation invites visitors to experience 76 of Korea’s most exciting and innovative food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s foremost food innovation exhibition, celebrating its 60th year.

Running from 19th to 23rd October 2024, the Korean Pavilion, organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will host 76 top Korean companies at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte. These businesses will showcase a wide range of agricultural and food products aimed at international buyers seeking health-driven, eco-conscious solutions.

The Pavilion, located across Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), will feature an extensive collection of traditional and modern Korean food items. Visitors can discover fermented sauces, Kimchi, noodles, ready meals, beverages, Ginseng, and plant-based vegan products—all catering to the growing global demand for sustainable, eco-friendly foods.

Korean Food Growing in Popularity in Europe

Korean food has gained significant popularity across Europe, known for its unique combination of health benefits and bold flavours. Retailers such as Carrefour and Monoprix now carry Korean products, and SIAL Paris will provide an excellent opportunity for visitors to explore this culinary trend. Visitors can engage with producers, sample products, and establish important business partnerships.

As the plant-based diet movement expands in Europe, Korean food’s versatility has found increasing favour with chefs and consumers alike, driving demand far beyond the iconic Kimchi.

Highlighting the True Diversity of Korean Food

Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director at aT Center Paris, commented: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”

Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, SIAL Paris will attract over 285,000 visitors from 200 countries, making it a key event for Korean companies to introduce their products to an international market.
