The family dining franchise, Black Bear Diner, has further extended its presence in the US by opening three new locations, with two in Texas and one in Arizona.
The brand launched a company-owned diner on 17 April 2024 at 2424 Creekview Drive Ste 150 in Waco, Texas. This diner spans 4,560 square feet and has seating for 145 patrons.
The second diner was inaugurated on 16 April at 5235 North Sunland Gin Rd in Eloy, Arizona. Owned and operated by TravelCenters of America (TA), this location encompasses 6,461 square feet and can host 143 guests.
A third diner, also managed by TA, opened in April at 4817 I-35 in New Braunfels, Texas. This site measures 4,789 square feet and provides 178 seats.
Anita Adams, CEO of Black Bear Diner, expressed enthusiasm about the recent openings: “The opening of these three locations has launched us into 2024 with remarkable momentum.
“These openings align with our strategic expansion plans and are a testament to the unwavering dedication of our franchise partners, and team members across the country.
“Our goal remains clear: to bring our unique offering of home-style comfort food and unparalleled guest service coast-to-coast.”
The newly opened diners boast architectural modifications and design improvements that enhance takeout and delivery services while ensuring the dine-in experience remains unaffected.
Notable among these is the introduction of an exterior delivery and pick-up window, designed to streamline the management of off-premise orders.
Black Bear Diner now boasts 159 locations nationwide, with plans to inaugurate an additional 14 outlets in 2024.
In August 2023, the chain inaugurated a new diner in Tonopah, Arizona, marking its eighth collaborative venture with franchise partner TravelCenters of America.
