Starbucks is poised to introduce its Spicy Lemonade Refreshers beverages along with a new Spicy Cream Cold Foam across Canada, starting 16 April 2024. These seasonal offerings, available for a limited time this spring, promise to refresh with a twist.

The Spicy Lemonade Refreshers line-up features three tropical flavours: Spicy Dragonfruit, Spicy Pineapple, and Spicy Strawberry. Each flavour combines the zest of lemonade with a unique spicy chilli powder blend, adding an invigorating kick to the sweet and tart beverage.

The Spicy Strawberry variant melds the sweet flavours of strawberry and acai with lemonade, real strawberry pieces, and a spicy chilli powder blend. Similarly, Spicy Dragonfruit blends the sweet tastes of mango and dragonfruit with lemonade and real dragonfruit pieces, spiced up with the chilli blend. The Spicy Pineapple version brings together the sweet flavours of pineapple and passionfruit, shaken with ice, real pineapple pieces, lemonade, and the chilli powder.

In addition to the refreshers, the new Spicy Cream Cold Foam offers a customisable option for those looking to spice up any cold beverage. Made with cold foam and the spicy powder blend, it is suggested as an excellent addition to an iced chai tea latte for a mix of spices or paired with a Cold Brew coffee.

Starbucks expressed its inspiration for these creations in a statement, saying: “Inspired by the ‘swicy’ trend, which combines sweet and spicy flavours in all sorts of creative ways, the new Spicy Lemonade Refreshers bring together the sweetness of a Starbucks Refreshers Beverage, the tartness of lemonade and the heat of Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend to create a deliciously refreshing sip with absolutely no chill.”

This introduction follows the unveiling of Starbucks’ spring beverage line-up across the Asia Pacific region in February 2024, which included delights such as the French Vanilla Mille-Feuille Oatmilk Latte, Peach Passion Blossom Pure Matcha Latte, and Peach Passion Blossom Cream Frappuccino Blended Beverage.
