CORD, the first fine dining restaurant by the esteemed culinary institution Le Cordon Bleu, is set to take over Bustronome, London’s gourmet sightseeing experience, for one day only on Saturday 29th June 2024. The exclusive collaboration will offer guests a unique opportunity to experience a London sightseeing tour like no other, while enjoying exquisite dining provided by the team from CORD.

Bustronome is a luxury double-decker bus that has been converted into a fine-dining restaurant to offer panoramic views of London. For the pop-up, the bus will be bestowed with CORD’s striking navy branding to embark on a celebratory journey through the capital. Taking in London’s iconic landmarks, plus the Le Cordon Bleu Bloomsbury campus and the CORD restaurant on Fleet Street.

Whilst en route, guests will embark on a true culinary journey, enjoying a memorable menu crafted by CORD’s Executive Chef Karl O’Dell. A skilled and innovative chef, Karl has curated a four-course lunch menu and six course dinner menu of seasonal signature dishes from CORD, taking a taste of CORD on the road. Menu highlights include; Scallop Ceviche with green mango, Szechuan pepper and chives, Rhug Estate Rack of Lamb with wild garlic yoghurt, gem lettuce, peas, and almonds and Brie de Meaux served with truffle, pecans, and honey. CORD’s Black Forest dessert will end the meal on an indulgent note.

To further enhance the dining experience, CORD’s sommelier Jiachen Lu has carefully selected a range of wines and non-alcoholic drinks to perfectly complement each dish and will be along for the ride to make personal recommendations for each guest.

This exceptional event is part of Le Cordon Bleu’s annual Summer Festival, celebrating the art of gastronomy at the institute’s Bloomsbury campus on Saturday 29th June.
