Giggling Squid, the Thai restaurant known for its authentic flavours and relaxed dining atmosphere, is delighted to announce the grand re-opening of its Norwich branch on Tuesday 11th June at 5pm.
The newly renovated restaurant features unique botanical décor, captivating showpiece bird cage seating areas designed for special meals, and cosy green banquettes that create the perfect setting for sharing delicious Thai dishes with loved ones.
The cuisine on offer will include Giggling Squid’s iconic Thai tapas dishes and latest additions, such as a plant-based starter, Salt & Pepper Chilli Mushrooms (£6.80), a meat-free alternative to their bestselling Salt & Pepper Squid (£8.80), the succulent Caramelised Pork Belly (£8.99), bite-sized Crispy Squid Bits (£8.50), and the light and fresh North Eastern Papaya Salad (£8.95).
The restaurant will also be serving the two new Pride Month cocktails, Margarita Blue (£9.95) and Lush Blush (£9.45). These are thai-rrific additions to the cocktail menu at Giggling Squid for the month of June, with refreshing summer flavours. The Margarita Blue is a twist on a classic margarita with El Sueno tequila, a dash of Blue Curaçao and a squeeze of zesty lime, while the Lush Blush is a fruity blend of mango, lime, strawberry and coconut rum, which makes a tranquil beach in Thailand, just a sip away. With every new cocktail sold, Giggling Squid will donate £1 to Mind Out, a charity that works to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ communities, and to make mental health a community concern.

Located at 24 Tombland, Norwich, NR3 1RF, Giggling Squid will re-open to guests Monday to Sunday, 12.00-22.00.
A takeaway menu will also be available for click & collect or telephone orders as well as delivery a few weeks after re-opening.
