One of Britain’s best-loved chefs Simon Bonwick has released a new book celebrating 40 years in gastronomy.

Following on from his first sell-out book Mr Bonwick has published Cooking, Art & Shizzle.

It is a riotous celebration of Mr Bonwick’s creativity, combining his love of food and art.

The maestro of pub cooking, who won a Michelin star for The Crown at Burchett’s Green, has experienced the hilarious highs and lows of kitchens around the UK in a remarkable career. And in his second book he shares some of his incredible stories. There are recipes for the faithful, and a selection of Simon’s remarkable art.

Mr Bonwick said: “My second book was such fun to put together – I hope readers get as much enjoyment from it as I had writing it and creating the artwork for it.”

Cooking, Art, & Shizzle is a book to read, to wonder at, and to cook from. It’s a bona fide one-off volume from a bona fide one-off artist and cook. It’s a remarkable way to celebrate his 40 years in gastronomy.

The book is boxed and luxuriously bound, featuring a foreword from two Michelin star chef, Nathan Outlaw.
