Lita, Marylebone’s modern European bistro by Chef Luke Ahearne, thrilled to announce a one-night-only collaboration dinner with Chef Diego Rossi from Trippa in Milan on Wednesday November 20th. Taking place at Lita, at 7-9 Paddington Street, this unique culinary event will bring together the exceptional talents of Lita’s Head Chef Luke Ahearne and Trippa’s Diego Rossi. Together, they will present a fixed menu of seasonal dishes that bring together the very best of both restaurants, fusing traditional Italian cuisine and modern European influences for innovative interpretations, alongside signature dishes from both Lita and Trippa.

The Menu

Drawing inspiration from both traditional Italian and modern European influences, this unique dining experience will present guests with a set menu split into three sections: raw, pasta, and meat. Showcasing a combination of classic dishes from Lita and Trippa as well as innovative culinary blends, the menu will feature dishes such as Lita’s famed Fuentes bluefin tuna and whole Cornish turbot, and Trippa’s vitello tonnato and braised tripe, as well as exclusive new dishes that fuse the culinary influences and expertise of both chefs.

Lita, the modern European bistro which opened this spring in Marylebone, has quickly established itself as one of London’s premium dining destinations. Hailing from Clonmel Co. Tipperary, Ireland, Luke Ahearne is an autodidact chef, whose passion for food led to a career in the cheffing, after gaining hands-on experience working at his father’s café and later at Garrett Byrne’s Michelin-starred Campagne in Kilkenny. Chef Luke initiated Lita’s culinary concept which revolves around the bold, seasonal flavours of southern Europe, with a menu focused on regional ingredients with a menu of dishes that vary in size and change frequently, all intended for sharing. Chef Luke’s philosophy of using the very best seasonal and local produce ensures that each dish at Lita manifests a balance of flavour, quality and culinary artistry.

Trippa and Chef Diego Rossi

Born in Veneto, Italy, Chef Diego Rossi is the culinary force behind Trippa, an acclaimed trattoria in Milan. After attending hospitality school, Diego honed his skills in prestigious establishments across Northern Italy, even earning a Michelin star at Le Antiche Contrade, before opening Trippa in 2015 with Pietro Caroli. Chef Diego’s vision is clear: to offer a welcoming, homey atmosphere where traditional Italian dishes shine. Trippa revives the charm of old-school trattorias, allowing guests to savour authentic flavours often overlooked by modern chefs. The menu is a tribute to Italy’s rich culinary heritage, with dishes rooted in regional traditions and ingredients chosen with obsessive care.

Chef Diego is renowned for his creative use of offal, and Trippa’s signature dishes, such as vitello tonnato, fried tripe, and bone marrow, exemplify his innovative yet respectful approach to classic cuisine. Each dish tells a story of Italy’s regions, offering diners a taste of history, crafted with freedom, passion, and a deep respect for the ingredients. Trippa embodies Diego’s dream of a convivial space filled with exceptional food and wine.
