Afternoon Tea Week is just around the corner, and Jumeirah’s global portfolio offers three delightful afternoon tea experiences to indulge in…

Celebrate seasonality with Jumeirah Carlton Tower

Jumeirah Carlton Tower recently launched its latest afternoon tea concept, inspired by Highgrove House & Gardens – the iconic gardens developed by His Majesty King Charles III. The tea brings guests a seasonal, botanically inspired experience that champions sustainability, in celebration of His Majesty’s passion for the earth.

The unique menu includes a selection of classically British savoury dishes, such as a coronation chicken sandwich in a nod to the gardens’ royal roots, and pastries inspired by the Royal Family, including a Queen Victoria sponge, His Majesty’s favourite fruit cake, and a chocolate biscuit cake inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II’s preferred sweet treat. The royal inspiration is further reflected in the afternoon tea’s presentation, with details such as a small clay pot inspired by the one Princes Harry and William used to play hide and seek in making an appearance on the cake stand to truly embody the incredible story of the gardens and their royal links.

Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s ‘A Tribute to Nature’ Afternoon Tea starts from GBP 75 per person.

Champion marine conservation with Jumeirah Al Naseem

To celebrate 20 years of Jumeirah’s Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP), Jumeirah Al Naseem has launched a new ocean-themed four-hands afternoon tea concept at Al Mandhar Lounge. Executive Pastry Chef Julien Jacob has teamed up with his mentor, renowned Pâtissier and Chocolatier Philippe Rigollot, to craft a special menu featuring signature savouries and sweets, and nostalgic creations inspired by the chefs’ childhood favourites, such as a strawberry charlotte and a crunchy framboise with two types of chocolate. With an emphasis on sustainably sourced local ingredients and reduced sugar, this delightful afternoon tea is served on an ocean-inspired stand, decorated with repurposed coral and marble for an oceanic touch.

The tea can be booked as a standalone experience, or as part of the hotel’s turtle-inspired stay package, which also includes behind-the-scenes access to the DTRP’s turtle lagoon and a turtle feeding experience, with a portion of the stay rate being donated to the DTRP to support its important work.

Jumeirah Al Naseem’s Turtle-Inspired Afternoon Tea starts from GBP 55 per person.

Combine art and cuisine with Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s ‘Bears by Naor’ afternoon tea combines the worlds of art and cuisine through a collaboration with 7 Art Gallery and Wild Idol. The hotel’s talented chefs have curated a menu of delectable sweet and savoury bites, accompanied by a selection of carefully crafted miniature chocolate bears inspired by Naor’s ‘Childhood Memories’ art collection at 7 Art Gallery, including the Ferrari and Hermès tribute bears in a nod to some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands. The hotel has also partnered with renowned alcohol-free wine brand Wild Idol to further elevate its offering, providing guests with delicious non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy alongside their afternoon tea experience.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s ‘Bears by Naor’ Afternoon Tea starts from GBP 60 per person.
