Australia’s favourite chocolaty biscuit is giving away free Tim Tam bikkies in celebration of the international tennis tournament commencing this week

Brits rally round! Following a hugely successful launch in the UK earlier this year, Australia’s iconic biscuit is saying ‘bite, sip, slam’ as the Wimbledon Grand Slam kicks off today.

In celebration of the tournament commencing, Tim Tam will be handing out free biscuits, across some of Londoners favourite spots to watch the Wimbledon action.

From 13:00 – 16:00 yesterday, the public can indulge in the delicious crunchy biscuit and creamy chocolaty flavours of Tim Tam Original, exclusively at Wimbledon Piazza, then again today from 12:00 – 15:00 at Kings Cross Station.

Former tennis champion, Ash Barty – who won Wimbledon in 2021 – will also be making an appearance at Wimbledon Piazza, marking her return to London since winning the Slam. Ash will be saying G’Day to tennis fans and teaching Brits how to master the art of the Tim Tam Slam.

Ash Barty, Australian tennis champion and Tim Tam fan, said: “It’s great to be back in London for the tennis and to help Tim Tam, my all-time favourite bikkie, celebrate their UK launch! There’s nothing better than a taste of home while travelling, and now that Tim Tam is available in the UK I know what I’ll be dunking into my coffee throughout the tournament.”

Rebecca Chan, Head of Tim Tam Marketing, said: “From one iconic slam to another, family and friends enjoying the tournament can now celebrate a touch of Australia with our iconic Tim Tam biscuit. It’s been wonderful to see how well Tim Tam has been received since arriving in the UK and we’re looking forward to celebrating with tennis fans – what more could you wish for?”

The activation comes after Tim Tam launched in UK supermarkets Waitrose and Ocado, earlier this year. Tim Tam biscuits will soon be available across additional UK retailers.

Tim Tam Original consists of irresistible layers of crunchy biscuit, luscious velvety cream filling, and a smooth milk chocolate coating – a great match for any tennis lover!
