Lympstone Manor offers a magical escape this festive period on Devon’s Jurassic coast. Festive Stays at Lympstone Manor 

December marks the start of Christmas festivities at Lympstone Manor, with festive touches across Lunch and Afternoon Tea menus, including homemade mince pies, indulgent turkey sandwiches, and French pâtisserie-inspired cakes.  

Guests can enjoy festive themed events, such as creating unique festive wreath with Ed and Sophie from Trugs Florist, using traditional and modern materials on the 9 December. For something different, join the “I Haven’t a CLUE, DO YOU?” Murder Mystery evening with Murder by Midnight Theatre Company, paired with a bespoke four-course dinner in the fine dining restaurant on 18 December. 

 Christmas Celebrations at Lympstone Manor 

Decorated in full splendour, Lympstone Manor comes alive with a special three-night Christmas package between 24th – 27th December. Guests arriving on Christmas Eve will be welcomed by warm homemade mince pies, mulled wine and sounds of a brass band performing. Dine on Michael Caines’s eight-course tasting menu, before being chauffeured to Midnight Mass at Exeter Cathedral. Christmas Day starts with a Champagne breakfast followed by a festive five-course Christmas tasting menu for lunch or dinner, whilst Boxing Day offers a tour of the hotel’s vineyard and wine tasting experience.

Lunch is also available for non-residents featuring a five-course menu on Christmas Day and a choice of four- or eight-course tasting menus on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.

New Year Festivities at Lympstone Manor 

Celebrate the New Year in style with a two-or-three-night package option. Upon arrival, guests will receive a bottle of Lympstone Manor’s award-winning Classic Cuvée, produced from the estate’s very own vineyard. New Year’s Eve unfolds with a black-tie celebration, starting with Champagne and live music, leading into an eight-course tasting menu with expertly paired wines chosen by Lympstone’s in-house sommeliers. The night culminates in a Champagne toast and a stunning fireworks display on the hotel’s 28-acre grounds and live music till late. On New Year’s Day, guests can join a guided walk along the Exe estuary, followed by lunch, with the rest of the day free to explore the local area.

The black-tie gala dinner on New Year’s Eve and the New Year’s Day lunch are available to non-residents to ring in the New Year.
